Giving Props where Props are Due
I don't think I've ever created a post just to link to another blog, but this particular entry over at Barely Legal is simply phenomenal. What a tale!

I completely agree, I LOVE stories like that.
Hey its an expensive education, the least it should get you is out of BS tickets, right?

the story is great, but seriously, I think fool or myself or a good deal of other intelligent people would have been able to talk our ways out of that ticket long before law school. If anything law school would cause me to be quiet because I would fear the dirty cop planting drugs or examining the dog for human semen.

There's no way I'd ever, ever, ever talk to a cop like that. They scare the sh*t out of me--especially after having been a PD for a few years. Too much power--too little smarts (generally) (the cops, that is). I prefer to cry my way out of a ticket. That or drop names.
