Maybe Next Week It'll tell us Not to Travel to a Toxic Waste Dump
Yesterday, the State Department warned U.S. citizens against traveling to Iran. In the spirit of providing equally helpful advice, I’d like to warn all male readers against taking an ice pick and puncturing your testicles with it. (Female readers, I apologize, but you’re on your own!)
My sincere apologies to anyone who must cancel a summer vacation to Tehran in lieu of the State Department's warning. I extend even more heartfelt apologies to you for being a complete idiot (for having a trip scheduled in the first place).
Am I the only one who gets the sense that we're living in a world where the Mad Hatter and the March Hare are running things?

What kind of horseshit advice is that from our government?

The herat version of iran is beautiful or so I have heard.
Tehran is a shithole, too many persians there, you got to get out into the countryside to experience the real iran.
I was planning on backpacking from ankara in turkey through norther iraq to herat then take teh bus to tehran for some falaffel and hummus.
This whole thing will blow over and I will be able to get some hamentashens on evilterroristaka st by march.

Hmmm.... I hadn't even considered Iran for my honeymoon. A new option......it would definetly be more "exciting" then going to Sandals....

I have to tell you...I was really hoping we could go to Iran for our own honeymoon. I guess you're not into it.

Sorry Harmless Error!!!!
I am definetly not into it....we're not so much for the "adventure" travelling as much as the lay by the pool with a frosty drink, butt naked at hedonism types.
But, its different strokes for different folks....and to other couples it might be the perfect spot, but totally different reasons and purposes. In the same way that a week in Italy isn't our dream....its gorgeous and I loved it in the past, but we're about the sun and water :) Sorry (cringe)
