Breaking his Cherry

Recently, when I was refereeing a basketball game, one of the law students kept challenging every single call that went against him. After seven or eight complaints, I finally gave him a technical foul. After the game, the law student rushed over to me.

Law Student: Hey, dude, I've been playing basketball for fourteen years and I've never gotten a technical foul.
Thinking Fool: Well, I guess there's a first time for everything. Congratulations.

I don't think he added me to his Christmas Card list.

Yeah, probably not.

I hate how competitive people get. I played in a corporate dodgeball league, and finally we all quit because people were getting really testy and competitive. We were the only lawyers, though. Stupid corporate people.

Yeah, but giving a technical foul still isn't as fun as throwing a coach out in a baseball game!
